Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University is a public, historically black, land-grant university located in Normal, a neighborhood of Huntsville, Alabama, United States. Their Graduate Studies department was looking to increase their presence and build a more flexible and easy to use website for their Graduate Studies department.
- Our Approach
We met with the Dean of Graduate Studies and one of their Student Admission Administrators to discuss the needs of their department. Their goal was to build a landing (micro) site to have visitors locate information in a more friendly and efficient way.
- The Result
We utilized the current branding provided from the Department along with their content and media to build a WordPress microsite. The site featured an introduction letter from the Dean, a dynamic news section that was easily updated from the backend, integrated with the Department’s social media accounts and linked to important files students would need to access.
