When PLS approached us to build a website they were attempting to bid on a new RFP project and needed the site to add to their proposal as reference. The deadline for the RFP was in less than three weeks. We met with PLS and created milestones to build the MVP (Minimum Viable Product). The timeline we developed was:
- Week One: Collect all content, branding and media; configure hosting with WordPress.
- Week Two: Create sitemap, design home and inner pages, build prototype
- Week Three: Test prototype and launch MVP version 1
It satisfied the requirements of PLS bidding for the project. They have now gone on to win more contracts and expand their company. Since the launch of version 1, we have worked together with the CEO to maintain the website’s content, add a job posting section and even worked with a vendor to install a product catalog on the site. This project proved that it doesn’t all have to be launched at day 1. Building a plan to a bigger product can work just as great as doing it all at once.
