Background: WordCamps are informal, community-organized events put together by WordPress users. Everyone from casual users to core developers participate, share ideas, and get to know each other. (Source)
The WordCamp experience is beyond just attending a conference to learn. It’s an experience that will force you to appreciate the WordPress community’s collaborative effort to keep the vision alive. It does not negatively force you. It pushes you beyond your current boundaries to grow professionally and personally. The amount of gratitude cannot be expressed because it’s so much.
As this was the first ever WordCamp experience, that’s an accomplishment. To set the bar high, this is also the first WordCamp presentation. Talk about jumping off the deep end. Thankfully the presentation was recorded, and below is the 15-minute Lightning Talk: “Building a Social Media Posting Application Using WordPress and Zapier“.
Please subscribe to our blog because the next iteration of this presentation will include all the details from the questions asked and the ENTIRE process of setting up this workflow. Enjoy!
